Welcome to our Brow Lift Surgery service in Miami! As we age, our brows can start to sag and droop, making us look tired, angry, or sad. Fortunately, our experienced plastic surgeons can help you achieve a more youthful and refreshed appearance with Brow Lift Surgery.
This procedure lifts and tightens the skin on your forehead, smoothing wrinkles and erasing years from your face.
When you have a brow or forehead lift, the tissues and muscles around your eyebrows and your forehead get altered. Your upper face appears smoother after a brow lift, frown lines look minimized, and eyebrows appear raised. Two methods exist for lifting the eyebrows. You and your physician discuss your condition and options and then decide which process should work the best for you.
When you have a conventional brow lift, an incision is made by the hairline. Skin gets removed and tightened, and the incision gets hidden in the hairline. Once the procedure gets completed, you’ll have a smooth forehead and have a more animated expression.
The second brow lift uses an endoscope. Endoscopes make small incisions and a viewing instrument to smooth out the forehead’s lines. Like the experts at Seduction Cosmetic Center™ in Miami, FL, only a qualified surgeon can assist you in choosing the right procedure type for your situation.
Excellent candidates for brow lifts include those who are:
• From 40 to 50 years of age.
• Any age and have significant furrows due to muscle activities and stress.
• Members of a family who tend to have furrows on their faces.
• Individuals with low or heavy eyebrows.
• Well-informed on their brow lift choices and understand the possible results and risks of the surgery.
A lot of Seduction Cosmetic’s patients choose to have a brow and facelift simultaneously to gain an all-over improvement in the way their face appears.
And even people with receding hairlines can have successful brow lifts and improve their self-confidence.
To understand how a brow lift could change your appearance, put your hands’hands’ palms by the outside of your eyes by the eyebrows. Gently lift your skin. Then look in a mirror. This action should give you an idea of how a brow lift might appear.
You’ll get specific instructions regarding preparing for your procedure. You should read through these instructions and ask any questions you might have. You’llYou’ll need to stop drinking, smoking, and using certain medications a week or two before the surgery. If you have short hair, growing it out covers your surgical areas while they heal.
Please arrange for someone to drive you to and from Seduction Cosmetic Center™. You might also need someone to stay with you for a few days after your treatment.
Many people think that using Botox gets considered only by older individuals. But many people of a wide variety of ages use Botox for a lot of reasons. Our doctors use Botox injections to:
• Lesson the wrinkles in your forehead that make you look angry, even when you’re not angry.
• Reduce established wrinkles.
• Prevent potential wrinkles.
• Enhance some facial features.
Change the position of your eyebrows without the use of surgery.
Most brow lifts occur in an outpatient setting, such as Seduction Cosmetic’s outpatient surgery center. In individual cases, a brow lift occurs in a hospital setting. You might receive a sedative and local anesthesia for your surgery or receive a general anesthetic.
Your hair gets placed away from your face before surgery. Only the hair right by the incision will get trimmed if necessary. Most people who have this lift have a headphone-like incision that starts at one ear, runs right by the hairline across the forehead, and goes right down the other side of their head. This incision runs behind the hairline so that it won’t be seen.
People with receding hairlines might either have an incision at their current hairline or using a mid-scalp incision. This cut follows the line of the skull bones, making it hard to see.
During the procedure, the forehead skin becomes lifted, so tissue gets removed. Then, the muscles on the forehead get altered or released. Your eyebrows may be raised, and any excess skin gets removed.
Next, the opening is closed. Your hair and face get washed to keep your skin from irritation. Any rubber bands get taken out of your hair. Finally, your physician covers the incisions with gauze for padding and places a compression bandage over the surgical area.
The endoscopic forehead lift remains the same procedure as the traditional brow lift. But in the endoscopic lift, three to five short incisions get made. Each incision measures about one inch long. The endoscope gets placed inside one of the incisions so the doctor can easily see. Using another tool allows the doctor to lift muscles or other underlying tissue in the brow or forehead area. Eyebrows might be raised and secured into position with sutures or screws. The surgical area gets cleaned and bandaged, much like a traditional lift.
The traditional brow lift takes a bit more healing time than the endoscopic lift. You’ll need to keep your head elevated. You might experience numbness or have a headache due to anesthesia. Temporary pain medication eases the pain for a few days. And the anesthesiologist can adjust the general anesthetic if it tends to give you headaches.
You should keep your head for three days to prevent swelling and keep bruising to a minimum. Your eye and cheek areas might also swell and bruise. All of these symptoms should diminish within seven days.
Healing time is shorter with the endoscopic surgery, and less swelling and bruising occurs.
