Are you tired of dealing with stubborn cellulite that just won’t go away
Both women and men experience cellulite, though women develop it more often. Cellulite looks like skin that has a cottage cheese texture. Layers of fat poke through fibrous bands attached to muscle fascia under the skin called septae. In women, these septae form the shape of a honeycomb where the fat pokes through the combs. In men, connective tissue produces criss-cross patterns that provide a man’s cellulite with a smoother appearance.
Cellulite tends to occur on the:
• Thighs
• Abdomen
• Buttocks
• And other parts of the body
This unique fat-related problem gets caused by:
• Bad eating choices
• Lack of adequate exercise
• Hormonal changes
• Developing more fat
• A slow metabolism
• Dehydration
About 85 percent of women experience cellulite even if they maintain the proper weight.
Cellulite gets trapped as a layer in the dermal layer of your skin. The location makes it harder to burn off than other kinds of fat. Cosmetic surgeons can change the structure of your skin and causes the lumps of cellulite to disappear.
Most people tolerate celluloid removal well. The ideal candidates for cellulite removal treatments are:
• Healthy people who don’t like the way cellulite looks on their body
• People who weight a reasonable amount and don’t need to lose weight
• People who understand the procedure and possible results of having a cellulite treatment
During a laser cellulite treatment, your doctor uses a small laser fiber to cut the bands beneath the skin that create a dimpled appearance to your skin. The lasers also melt subcutaneous fat layers and increase collagen production. Increased collagen production improves the skin’s texture and elasticity. With only one laser cellulite treatment, your skin should look smoother and tighter. You might require annual treatments to keep your skin from developing cellulite again, however.
Another minimally invasive procedure, called subcision, uses a tiny blade to release the septae that hold down your skin and cause cellulite. The process gets done using a handheld tooth that suctions fat under the skin. Subcision has the longest-lasting results, and results might last for up to three years. Each session lasts for approximately one hour.
Carboxytherapy treats cellulite, dark circles under your eyes, and stretch marks. It uses carbon dioxide gas injected into the treatment areas. Carboxytherapy results in cellulite that remains less noticeable and increased blood supply to the area in question. Skin texture and elasticity shows improvement.
Radiofrequency cellulite therapy has two goals. Goal number one reduces cellulite and fat production. Goal number two encourages and increases collagen development, so your skin looks younger and firmer.
This RF therapy uses energy devices to contour specific areas of your body and reduce fatty tissue deposits. Fatty areas and cellulite get removed from your body. Some of these treatments both heat fat layers and suction out your skin using a pulsing vacuum.
Cryolipolysis has recently been approved by the USDA to freeze your fat cells to remove them. Removing these fat cells might also remove the appearance of cellulite. It takes several sessions for cryolipolysis to show results, however.
Ultrasound acoustic waves can improve the appearance of skin with cellulite. These acoustic waves break up the cellulite using a handheld device that is non-invasive. The benefits of using ultrasound cellulite removal include:
• Fat reduction
• Skin tightening
• Cellulite removal
• And increased collagen production
Mesotherapy injectables use a variety of injected substances beneath the skin to reduce the appearance of cellulite. Some of the injected materials might include:
• Hormones
• Aminophylline
• Or other ingredients that destroy the tissues that cause cellulite
Unfortunately, mesotherapy injectables have a significant number of possible complications, including swelling, infection, and other issues
Since the removal processes differ significantly, each treatment’s recovery time varies quite a bit, too. Some therapies have a little downtime, while others state that you’ll need one to two days to recuperate.
